How to calculate area of triangle, what is the Pythagorean Theorem formula, what is relative frequency? Such questions kept circling my head but never actually fitted in. Yes maths gave me nightmares and I dreaded it completely. But ironically my best friend loved it & was my savior of all time. Sadly, many kids these days do not show attention in maths because they find it boring and hard to understand. Some students do have a ability for maths, but not everybody. With a lot of practice, you will see the same patterns of maths questions over and over again. Most Maths questions are basically testing the same thing but having the questions changed here and there to look different. Once u can identify the prototype, one look at a question and you can immediately identify what they are asking you so doing lots of maths questions really help a lot.

Many parents and even teachers tell children to learn by heart a formula. If the child does not understand how the formula was derived, it will not be possible for the child to relate the formula in a given problem. Instruct your child how the formula was derived and you will be astonished to see that your child is able to memorize the formula without any problem. Kids love to play games. Use games to nurture their interest for math, it helps. Through playing games like board games or Online maths games, kids learn that math can be applied through games and not only in school. It gives them a more imperative reason to learn math.
